Industrial process systems typically require monitoring of emissions of air pollutants which present an environmental impact and must be monitored per governmental regulatory agencies. Routine calibrations are carried out at field monitoring sites either by custom process analyzers or gas chromatograms (More recently Mass Spectrometers). These instruments must be checked to assure they are within calibration tolerances provided by the regulatory agencies and company prescribed procedures. These vital measurements ensure the end user remains in compliance with reporting and also to avoid costly regulatory fines and worst case scenario: shut downs.

CSI Gas can provide many different gas pollution standards which are required to complete calibrations for your specific instrument or sensor. Our consistently accurate and expeditious production practices, allow us to provide specialty gas standards for environmental applications that keep instrument in compliance for end users in the field. Our goal of learning a customer’s specific environmental process gives us the ability to serve you far more than an “order taker” typically found in the large chain suppliers.

Many of our customer require the use of a CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) systems for “Daily Verifications” of calibrated instruments. In conjunction to those, EPA Protocols are necessary to complete RATA (Relative Accuracy Test Audit) or CGA (Cylinder Gas Audit). All standards are traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), NTRM (Traceable Reference Material), or a GMIS (NIST-certified Gas Manufacturer’s Internal Standard).
